Lapel Pins and Hog Pens

After watching the debates last night, I am disappointed (as usual). Do Americans really care about symbolism? The last 8 years, and Jim Hightower, have explained why Harry Truman said
"No man should be allowed to be president who doesn't understand hogs" The White House is a
searing hog pen!
If you watched the Democrats debate, you know that the wars are bad and the economy is in serious trouble. If you are concerned about lapel pens, then your understanding of the
real issues is probably very limited. I can't believe anybody in government who will not end the
illegal occupation of Iraq, Afghanistan and all the issues that hurt us at home. I like having a strong
competent, military. But that doesn't mean we have to constantly abuse it for the profit of a few
who get richer with war. The media has to be held accountable too. They were the cheerleaders for
the Bush/Cheney oil grab. How do these people sleep at night? If you are sad by all the death, torture, the treatment of the injured vets, the loss of our Constitution,etc..........Our government
doesn't represent the people. This one doesn't even pretend they do. BenveziaBarbara
